Buru and Forest Friends

Buru is a domesticated giant stag beetle. One day he is blown off by the wind and ends up in deep in the forest. At first, Buru falls in with the wrong crowd, a mean mutant cockroach Kiri and Kiri’s right hand Jjaga, and does mischievous deeds that disrupt the forest. However, after seeing larvae of stag beetles in danger, Buru decides to protect the forest and its Noeul Village where Buru makes his home. However, Buru learns that he also is a mutant like Kiri, and this discovery causes deep inner conflict, as he wonders whether he should join Ururu, a mutant wolf spider that wants all the mutants to rule over other species, or he should continue to protect the forests with his friends.
