Descendants of The Sun

An officer of the ROK Army Special Forces is dispatched to Uruk, a strange land where biological warfare occurs. Yu Sijin, a humanitarian with the utmost respect for human life and dignity, graduated from the Korea Military Academy with honors. Sijin goes on leave with the master sergeant, Seo Daeyeong, as a reward. But then, he encounters a motorcycle thief. He causes the thief an injury while trying to catch him and takes him to a hospital. In an emergency room, he falls in love with Moyeon at first sight. Moyeon is a doctor who is not only competent but also decisive and confident. But she gets in the hospital's director's bad books and ends up in Uruk for a medical service activity where she is reunited with Sijin. They risk their lives for love in a faraway land.
