Soon Jae's family consists of three generations living under the same roof. Soon Jae's daughter Hyeon Gyeong, her husband Bo Seog, her younger brother Ji Hoon, and her son and daughter Jun Hyuk and Hae Ri all live together. There is not much solidarity among the family members, though. They only take care of their own business without consideration for others. Ja Ok is living next door. Even though her family is not related by blood, they have a strong bond among them. Jung Eum, who is Jun Hyuk's tutor, Julien, In Na, and Kwang Soo are living as a family in Ja Ok's house. This family welcomes new members, Sae Kyeong and her sister Shin Ae. They have come to Seoul to escape from creditors and start to work as housekeepers in Soon Jae's house, which leads to a new phase in the story of this family.
