Lincoln’s famous Gettysburg Address defines democracy as the government of the people, by the people, and for the people. Currently, democratic ideas are at the root of most government system and societies in the world, including Korea. However, we must ask ourselves how much we know about democracy. Democratic society’s well-being relies heavily on its people, since democracy is, as defined by Lincoln, the government by the people. The program includes valuable lessons by renowned professions on history, fundamental theories, and related philosophical thoughts of democracy.
