Minari

David, a young boy of Korean descent, moves from California to a small town in Arkansas with his father Jacob, mother Monica, and sister Anne. Jacob tries to start a farm, while Monica has a hard time accepting the sudden change. Due to the economic instability and David's heart condition, Monica persuades her husband to move back to California. Still, Jacob insists on staying, hoping he can prove that he can do something that he would be proud of. Soonja, Monica's mother, comes from Korea to take care of the kids. David doesn't like her because she isn't like other grandmas that he knows.
