The Suspect

Ji Dong-chul is North Korea’s finest special forces agent. While on a mission, a shift in the political system leaves Dong-chul abandoned by the government and on the run. His wife and daughter are sold off to China as slaves. Dong-chul manages to find his family, but they have already been killed. Dong-chul finds out an ex-colleague, Lee Gwang-jo was behind the deaths. Dong-chul seeks out vengeance, defecting to South Korea to seek out Gwang-jo. In South Korea, Dong-chul works as a chauffeur while tracking down his nemesis. Dong-chul witnesses the murder of one of his customers, Chairman Park, whom he has befriended. Park gives Dong-chul a pair of glasses, and soon Dong-chul is framed for the murder. Now he is chased by the National Intelligence Service led by colonel Min Se-hoon, while still attempting to find the killer of his family. As the manhunt continues, the truth begins to unravel.
