The Way to School
2014 • All • 1h 11m • Documentary
At a small village at the Himalayas, children and their fathers go to school along the Chaddar (ice blanket). During 20 days, the fathers, carrying their kids and heavy luggage, climb a cliff and cross melting ice to go to school in the neighboring village and back. The kids cannot meet the family for a year when the Cheddar melts and the road is closed. The documentary follows the most dangerous way to school and captures the family's unconditional love and sacrifice to give the kids a better life.
